Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend and got to catch up on rest and downtime. I’m feeling great and my heart is full since I was able to spend the weekend back in Houston with my family!<3 Every time I go home, it feels like a mini getaway from the stresses and fast-paced life of school and it’s simply the best.
Today’s blog post is about two of my all time favorite patterns: leopard + lace. I’m sure that you have all seen leopard in just about every clothing store by now and I really hope it doesn’t stop any time soon. I can tell y’all that it’s not stopping for me as there is another leopard featured blog post coming soon, so stay tuned! For this look, I decided to add in an extra flair by pairing the cardigan with this chic black top that features lace trim at the neckline, shoulders and even the sleeves. Lace is the perfect, girly detail to any piece of clothing that makes everything a little more dressy, which is why I love it!
Both of these pieces are from Amazon and they’re also both under $25! They are the cutest pieces worn by themselves and even cuter when paired together. This lace top is so versatile as it can easily be dressed up or down and worn in so many occasions. On this day, I styled it more casually by throwing this cardi over it and wearing jeans and booties. It would also look amazing with some heels and a classic red lip, while letting the cold shoulder with lace details show off! Even better, the material of the shirt is a lightweight fabric with a slight sheen to it that adds an element of effortless glam.
I also have been really loving these subtle cat eye sunglasses that are from Amazon. Can y’all tell I’ve been really loving Amazon fashion lately?! These glasses are incredibly sturdy and don’t feel cheap in any way. They are the perfect size if you don’t like really oversized sunglasses or if you have a smaller face as they are not too big. It comes in 3 different colors and it also comes with the cutest gold glittery case, which is always a plus!
Thanks so much reading this post!
Have a happy Sunday!
